MY IDOL BADGE entitled MY IDOL

To achieve this badge, you need to be able to write 3 paragraphs about your idol. You must cover 6 out of the 7 of the following bullet points:

• His/Her name ;
• his/her age ;
• his/her date of birth ;
• his/her physical description (size, hair, eyes) ;
• his/her personality ;
• his/her family (siblings and/or parents and/or uncle-aunt and/or grandparents and/or children) ;
• his/her pets.

The order does not matter. Also, you can make it up !

Moreover, you are allowed to add more details (for example, you could start with a BRIEF introduction of yourself, and then explain why you like that particular person, as an introduction to your description of him/her).

Success criteria:

• CONTENT:
  • Fully relevant and detailed response to the task.
  • Well organised structure.
• RANGE OF LANGUAGE:
  • Some attempts at longer sentences using linking words.
• ACCURACY:
  • Verbs formations are correct (you’ll need to speak in the 3rd person, “he”/”she”, rather than in the 1st person, “I”, so mind personal pronouns and verbs’ endings!).
  • Adjective agreement is correct (masculine/feminine/plural)
  • Spelling and accents (é/è) are mostly correct.
• PUNCTUATION:
  • Capital letter at the start of a sentence.
  • Full stop at the end of a sentence.

EXAMPLE of a good piece of writing deserving a badge:

Salut ! Je m’appelle Mademoiselle Tharsis et j’ai quatorze ans. J’ai une idole, qui s’appelle Admiral T. 

  Il a trente-quatre ans et son anniversaire, c’est le vingt-neuf mars 1981. Il est assez grand, il a les cheveux noirs et les yeux marron. Il est très sympa ! 

Il a six frères et trois sœurs. Aussi, il a trois enfants : des frères jumeaux et une fille, qui s’appellent Dylan, Lewis et Chealsy. De plus, il a deux chats et un chien. J’adore Admiral T ! Et toi, tu as une idole ?

Bonjour! Je m’appelle Roshid. Mon anniversaire, c’est le six mars. J’ai onze ans. Mon idole s’appelle Nelson Mandela.

Son anniversaire, c’est le dix-huit Juillet 1918. Il a quatre -vingt-quinze ans. Son pere et sa mére s’appellent Nkosi Mphakanyiswa Mandela et Nosekeni Mandela. Il  habite a  Johannesburg avec un chien qui s’appelle Bubbsters.

Il a les cheveux gris courts et les yeux marron foncés.Il est assez grand.Il est sympa et actif!Il est mort le cinq décembre 2013.Au revoir!
